Bangladesh

In recent years, there have been positive developments in Bangladesh, formerly known as the »poorhouse of Asia«. While economy and literacy have grown, poverty and child mortality have been reduced. Nevertheless, Bangladesh is still one of the world's least developed countries.

HOPE IN THE CAMP
Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya refugees crammed into improvised huts made of plastic sheets. Here we are on a medical mission, together with our partner we bring hope to the camp - real hope that only Jesus can give.
A WAY OUT OF MISERY
Since 2009, our elementary school in a Muslim slum in Dhaka has been enabling children to escape from misery thanks to an above-average school education. The local church additionally provides the kids with love, food and clothing.
»Life in Myanmar was unbearable for us, so my parents left the country with us. I accepted the Christian faith 14 years ago. Since then, I have been doing everything I can to bring the Gospel to my people. I care a lot about translating the Bible into the language of us Rohingya.«
